Jonathan Atkinson

Vice Chairperson

Mr. Jonathan Atkinson was raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Cathedral Prep in 2006. He attended Gannon University, where he received an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Mr. Atkinson has worked in the mental health field since 2010. In 2013, he began employment as a licensed professional therapist with the United States Federal Government. He is certified in Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depression and Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy, and additionally has experience providing individual therapy and group therapy services within the field of substance abuse. Jonathan is passionate about using his platform to promote equity, empowerment, and overall wellbeing among underserved populations.
