Dr. Sarah Carter was raised in Erie and graduated from Seneca High School. She attended Cornell University where she earned a degree in Biology with a concentration in Neurobiology and Behavioral Science while playing varsity ice hockey. She then earned her doctorate degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She now practices as a dually board certified General and Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon and is the owner and medical director of iAesthetic Medspa.

Dr. Carter’s passion for justice and equality stems from her diverse experiences and a sense of duty to protect her patients and colleagues. When she is not working she enjoys scuba diving, reading and learning, and spending time with her family and her cat, Mr. Moo.
