Diverse Erie invests in initiatives and projects that will serve as a catalyst for generational change for BIPOC living in Erie County. Funded with American Rescue Plan dollars, the Generational Impact Grant addresses the growing, exacerbated inequities BIPOC face as a result of the pandemic, and support capital projects that will leave generational impact.

Open to non- and for-profit entities in Erie County, this grant program invests in the Erie community, advances equity, and provides more opportunities for those disproportionately affected by the pandemic. Through this funding initiative, the Generational Impact Grant will work to support and sustain these ideas and initiatives for generations to come.

This grant program requires a minimum match of 1:1, which may be achieved by showing the amount of money invested into the advancement of the project within the last 12 months (recapture period), and may be from any source, public or private.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email grants@diverseerie.org.
