Wayne Patterson’s career is built on discipline, leadership, and a passion for helping others succeed. His journey began in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed the resilience and strategic thinking that would define his professional path. After serving his country, he transitioned into human resources, where he has spent over 27 years driving organizational success and empowering employees. Starting in labor relations, Wayne quickly rose through the ranks at Edinboro University, eventually becoming Associate Vice President for HR & Faculty Relations. His ability to navigate complex policies, resolve conflicts, and build strong teams earned him leadership roles at organizations like the Barber National Institute and Supportive Living Services, Inc., where he currently serves as Director of HR. Along the way, he has cut costs, improved efficiency, and built inclusive workplaces that foster employee growth. Beyond his full-time roles, Wayne works as an HR consultant, sharing his expertise with schools and community organizations to improve policies and operations. With an MBA in Human Resources Management and a background in public relations, he combines strategic thinking with exceptional communication skills to create meaningful change. At his core, Wayne is a problem solver, mentor, and leader who believes that strong organizations start with strong people. Whether streamlining HR processes, negotiating contracts, or coaching employees to reach their full potential, he remains committed to making workplaces better for everyone.
